We're not in the business of cautious sightseeing. We're in the business of getting you behind the wheel of a real 4x4, on real terrain, with someone next to you who's done it a thousand times — so you can finally find out what your inner driver is made of.

Our story

A passion that became a company.

WildTrax Unleashed was born in the dust and water-spray of KwaZulu-Natal's bushveld — out of the simple belief that the best way to learn offroad driving isn't from a manual. It's from a seat, a clutch, an obstacle and a calm voice telling you "ease off, line it up, give it gas now."

We launched at Killarney 4x4 Park in Shongweni because it's one of the most varied offroad parks in the province: rocky climbs, deep gullies, water crossings, axle-twisters and views that make you forget you're only an hour from Durban. It's a real-world classroom — and we treat it like one.

To make confident, capable 4x4 drivers out of curious people — and to make sure every one of them walks away with stories worth telling.

Our expertise

Years on the trail, hundreds of recoveries, and a deep love for the mechanics of what a 4x4 actually does on rocks, in mud, and crossing water. Knowledge you can only get by doing.

Our safety commitment

Every drive starts with a briefing, every vehicle is inspected, every obstacle is scouted, and an instructor is with you the whole way. Adventure, yes. Reckless, never.

How we work

Watch. Learn. Drive.

Our format is simple and it works. Your instructor drives the first lap, narrating the lines, the throttle, the gear choices and the things that look scary but aren't (and the things that look fine but are). Then you switch. We coach, you drive. By the end of the day you've crossed water, climbed rock, and done something you weren't sure you could.

Welcome & safety briefing

We talk through the day, the vehicle, the radio etiquette and the do's and don'ts.

Instructor-led demo

You ride shotgun while we tackle the trail, explaining every input as we go.

You take the wheel

Under direct instructor supervision, with calm coaching the whole way through.
